Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This website, katharine.space, is the portfolio of Katharine Nguyen, working as Kataphora Design. I keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what is collected, why, and what you can ask me to do about it.

Who is responsible

Katharine Nguyen, Kataphora Design. For any privacy question or request, email kataphoradesign@gmail.com.

Messages you send me

When you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, subject and message. I use them only to reply to you and, if we work together, to manage the project. The form is processed by Formspree, which forwards the message to my inbox. Formspree is based in the United States. If you prefer, you can email me directly instead.

I keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for our exchange or required for business and tax records, and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Visitor statistics

I use GoatCounter to see how many people visit and which pages they look at. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not track you across other websites. It only records anonymous, aggregated information such as the page visited, the referring site, browser type, screen size and country.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web host, its servers automatically log technical information when a page is requested (such as IP address, date and time, and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. Fonts are stored on this site, so loading a page does not send your data to font providers.

External links

Links to Instagram, LinkedIn and other sites lead to services with their own privacy policies. Once you follow a link, their policy applies.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email kataphoradesign@gmail.com and I will respond promptly. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
